The American Consumer Opinion or ACOP was established in 1986 as a survey panel. It conducted its opinion-seeking studies on new products via snail mail. This old process made membership limited to US residents only. Ten years later, the survey panel went online and made membership available worldwide to accommodate around eight million current international users.
ACOP provides several opportunities for members to give their feedback on a variety of topics, including recent retail ads, customer service assessment, gift card purchases, new snack foods, and a host of other products and services needing consumer input. As payment for their feedback, members can choose from a variety of reward options, including cashing out via PayPal or check, entering a Sweepstakes contest, and even donating their earnings to charity.
There is a 1000 point minimum required to request a cash-out. There is also a referral program on ACOP, with each successful referral giving existing members a chance to win 5000 points during monthly draws.
ACOP accepts international membership to users aged 14 years old and above. Only one member is allowed per household.
